This Handsome fellow is a copy of a London find from the Bankside Carpark dig. Probably a 14thC find, the Cockerel was at the time a Universal Symbol of Lust and Adultery. With his Full Comb and Fine Wattles, and ample curl of tail feathers, this strutting Cock would perch on the wearer's hat and advertise their virility and/or availability.
