Copy of the Late Anglo Saxon rings found in the early Cheapside hoard.
These rings are Properly awful. The originals are unmistakably cast in a two part mould, and the mould halves have been poorly aligned and carved, leaving a very obvious seam. They were good enough for sale however, as they had been cleaned up after casting (which takes time and effort,) rather than just being recycled.
Thicker on one side of the band than the other to give the appearance of bulk while saving metal, these are really authentically cheap and flimsy.
